Small Business Champions was started in 2008 by Samantha Lewers.  It started as a community for small business owners to develop and grow their business.  Based on the challenges facing most small business owners, it has since evolved into a business offering internet marketing services.  These services focus on helping local businesses harness the power of the internet to grow and attract more customers online.

With over 20 years experience in sales and marketing and working in a variety of roles, Samantha has been managing and running her own businesses for the last 7 years.  Most of these have included a focus on internet marketing and Samantha has developed a comprehensive range of knowledge and skills in this area.  Combined with her previous marketing experience and qualifications (including a Master of Marketing), Samantha has a unique combination of real world and online experience.

Some of her relevant experiences to date:

- Marketing Manager for small food manufacturing business responsible for developing marketing materials, website management and product development.
- Owner of Presentation Packaging from January 2004 to January 2010.  Responsible for all marketing including website management, database marketing and email marketing.
- In June 2006, started The Packaging Place which grew to be Australia’s largest online packaging store.  Responsible for all marketing of the business including website management, database management, email marketing, product development, advertising campaigns (online and offline) and trade shows.  She and her partner sold this business in January 2010.
